In Singapore, trucks, vans, etc. have a large amber light mounted on top of the driver’s cab. It is connected to the speedometer in a secure fashion, and when the speed limit is exceeded, the light starts to flash, alerting the police. It is prima facie evidence that the law has been broken, and a citation is issued on the spot.
