* Robert Dictor has been appointed the director of operations for Marriott Hotels, Resorts and Suites’ western region based in Santa Ana. In his new position, Dictor will oversee room, food and beverage operations in 18 hotels in the western region, which includes Southern California and Arizona. Most recently, he was resident manager of the Anaheim Marriott. He has worked in the Marriott chain since 1978.
