Students Receive $1,000 Scholarships
Seven Cal Poly Pomona students have been chosen to receive the university’s highest merit scholarship, the 1992-93 President’s Council Scholarship.
The students, selected to represent each of Cal Poly’s six academic colleges and the School of Hotel and Restaurant Management, will each receive a $1,000 award.
The students and their majors are Susan Funston, animal science; Jose A. Gomez, sociology; Tuongthuy P. Ha, biology; Alec Rodal, architecture; Evelyn D. Flores, accounting; Tracy A. Price, electrical and computer engineering, and Yu-Fent Huang, hotel and restaurant management.
