Pool for Fun, Profit

A billiard center is very similar to a health center, bowling center or golf course in that it is a revenue-generating business that would fail if gambling, loitering, drugs and crime were tolerated. The goal is to maintain and increase profits. Tolerance of negative activities would only handicap profit goals.

Today’s billiard centers are posh and upscale. New billiard centers opening across the country are family-oriented, offering a comfortable atmosphere for young and old. In recent years, hundreds of city councilmen, local officials and police officers have seen for themselves that billiard centers can have a very positive effect on a community.
