AIDS Walk
On Sept. 20, I participated in my first AIDS Walk. It far surpassed my expectation. I lost two friends to AIDS last year and felt this experience would help me cope. There was such a complete feeling of love and support for one another, as humans, and not just as a target group.
That day convinced me that “family values” lies in how we treat those we love, not in who lives at your address.
