Share

International Remote Imaging Systems Inc. reported that LDA Systems, a newly formed Chatsworth company hoping to commercialize a high-speed instrument that analyzes white blood cells, has received $1 million from the sale of units.

The funds will be used to pay for the third and final phase of a federal Small Business Administration Innovation Research project on LDA’s analyzer, International Remote said.

LDA is hoping to raise up to $2 million from the offering of 200,000 units at $10 each. Each unit consists of one share of LDA common stock and 10 warrants. Each warrant entitles the holder to buy one share of International Remote common stock at 75 cents each beginning Nov. 16.
