Company Sells 14% of Its California Amplifier Stock

A major investor of California Amplifier Inc., a Camarillo supplier of microwave amplifiers for satellite communications systems, cut its stake in the company by 14%, selling 87,000 common shares in the last two months for $7.55 to $9.50 per share, according to a Securities and Exchange Commission filing.

With the sale, the investment firm CAMP Acquisition Corp. of Englewood, Colo., now holds 11.6% or 524,185 common shares of the Camarillo company’s stock, down from 13.5% or 611,185 shares.
