Defensive back Lewis Billups, who complained publicly about losing his starting spot to rookie Terrell Buckley, was released by the Green Bay Packers. Billups, a starter at left cornerback in the Packers’ first four games, was replaced in the starting lineup Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons by Buckley, the Packers’ top draft pick. Billups played one down in a 24-10 loss.
