Geoff Bodine won his second rain-delayed race in a row, driving a Ford to victory in the Tyson Holly Farms 400 at North Wilkesboro, N.C.

Bodine also won last week’s Goody’s 500 at Martinsville, Va..

The were no caution flags during the race, the first time that has happened in a Winston Cup event since August of 1984. It was the sixth caution-free NASCAR race in the circuit’s modern era.

Mark Martin finished second in a Ford, 5.4 seconds behind. Kyle Petty was third in his Pontiac, followed by Rusty Wallace’s Pontiac and Sterling Marlin’s Ford.

Points leader Bill Elliott finished 26th and lost ground to Davey Allison, who was 11th and gained 55 points. Elliott has 3,575 points to Allison’s 3,508 with four races left.
