RABAN ON CLINTON

Share

Although the article was fair and interesting, I differ with Raban on one point. He suggests that Clinton’s popularity surge is due more to the packaging of the candidate than the candidate himself.

I, too, believe that campaign tools such as Linda Bloodworth-Thomason’s video have been excellent, but they did not win my vote. On the contrary, I’ve supported Clinton since the New Hampshire primary because I believe that his economic proposals and social programs are what this country desperately needs. All the rest is window dressing.
