Women’s soccer might be included in the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta, IOC president Juan Antonio Samaranch said in an interview with a German magazine.
The head of the International Olympic Committee said the IOC and FIFA, soccer’s world governing body, are also trying to find a formula that would allow male “superstars” to take part in the Olympic tournament.
