OAK PARK : Finalists for School Chief Trimmed to 5
The board of the Oak Park Unified School District has winnowed to five the list of candidates to replace retiring Supt. Susan Hearn, Hearn said Tuesday.
The board met in executive session Monday night to select the finalists--three women and two men. Members will interview the five Oct. 23 and 24.
Officials declined to release the finalists’ names, but Hearn said all are now superintendents or assistant superintendents in other California school districts. She said one is from the Bay Area and the others are from Southern California, including Ventura County.
