Still on Top: Garth Brooks’ “The Chase” album sold an impressive 338,000 units during its third week in the stores and will continue to command the No. 1 position on Billboard’s pop album sales chart when the trade magazine hits the newsstands Saturday. Georgia-based rock group R.E.M.’s new “Automatic for the People” album sold about 218,000 copies and will enter the chart at No. 2, while Billy Ray Cyrus’ “Some Gave All,” which sold approximately 131,000 units, will hold steady at No. 3.
