The following are selected entries from the crime logs of local law enforcement agencies between Oct. 5 and Oct. 11:
Glendale
West Broadway, 400 block--Two men ran up to a motorist, forced him at gunpoint to give them his keys, opened the trunk and fled with a money bag containing $9,996 at 3 p.m. Oct. 5.
Portola Avenue, 800 block--Thieves broke the sliding-glass door of a house and stole a VCR valued at $200, two handguns, a rifle and a shotgun valued at $3,000, $200 cash and about 6,000 baseball cards valued at $4,000 between 8:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Oct. 6.
East Garfield Avenue, 300 block--Two paintings valued at $2,500 each were stolen from an apartment between 8:20 a.m. and 4:05 p.m. Oct. 7.
Buckingham Road, 3200 block--Flyers believed to be recruitment vehicles for a white supremacist group were found in several mailboxes Oct. 7.
Highland Avenue, 800 block--Patio furniture valued at $1,500 was stolen from a house at 3:45 a.m. Oct. 10.
East Maple Avenue, 1000 block--Two men assaulted a man and took his wallet and $350 cash at 10 p.m. Oct. 10.
Honolulu Avenue, 2600 block--Burglars stole cigarettes valued at $1,200 from Montrose Liquor at 2:30 a.m. Oct. 10.
Country Club Drive, 3500 block--Five jade statuettes, two Buddha statues, numerous ivory and jade figurines and two guns, all of unknown value, plus six watches valued together at $67,650, an undetermined amount of cash and other jewelry were stolen from a house between 8:30 a.m. and 9:25 p.m. Oct. 11.
Broken Windows--The windows of 14 cars, two businesses, one apartment and one house in Glendale were broken between Oct. 8 and 11, possibly with a BB gun or pellet gun; in several cases, marbles were used.
La Canada Flintridge
Littleton Place, 4500 block--Burglars entered a house, ransacked it and stole jewelry valued at $2,400 between 9 a.m. and 12:45 p.m. Oct. 5.
Foothill Boulevard, 500 block--A man using the Home Federal Bank automated teller at 8:50 p.m. Oct. 7 was robbed at gunpoint of $386.
La Crescenta
Foothill Boulevard, 2600 block--A sterling silver flute valued at $2,000 was reported stolen from a car Oct. 6.
Foothill Boulevard, 3000 block--Thieves pried open the door of Christie’s Liquor and stole 100 cartons of cigarettes valued at $1,600 at 3 a.m. Oct. 6.
Foothill Boulevard, 2600 block--A California Federal Bank teller was robbed at gunpoint of $1,076 cash by a man at 3:35 p.m. Oct. 7.
Atwater Village
San Fernando Road, 3000 block--A TV and household goods valued at $5,230 were reported stolen from a business Oct. 8.
Fletcher Drive, 3000 block--Thieves entered a medical office and stole computer equipment and business machines valued at $8,200 on Oct. 7 or 8.
Glendale Boulevard, 3000 block--Two men entered a gas station, forced the clerk to the floor at gunpoint and robbed him of $200 cash at 11:55 p.m. Oct. 10.
Eagle Rock
Figueroa Street, 7300 block--Two men with a handgun robbed a woman in the Vons parking lot of $55 cash at 9:27 p.m. Oct. 5.
Yosemite Drive, 1500 block--Burglars stole jewelry and camera equipment valued at $3,500 from an apartment between 8:45 a.m. and 6 p.m. Oct. 5.
Echo Park
Figueroa Terrace, 900 block--A woman motorist was robbed at knifepoint of a purse and money with a total value of $21 at 6 p.m. Oct. 5.
Fanning Street, 1800 block--A clay art piece valued at $1,000 was stolen from a porch at 8 p.m. Oct. 5.
Elysian Park Avenue, 1000 block--A man in a park was robbed at gunpoint by three men of camera equipment and a vehicle valued at $6,000 at 4:25 p.m. Oct. 7.
Stadium Way, 2000 block--A woman in a parking lot was robbed of her purse, money and jewelry valued at $1,157 by six men, including one armed with a baseball bat, at 5:20 p.m. Oct. 10.
Glassell Park
Eagle Rock Boulevard, 3900 block--Two men robbed a government facility employee at gunpoint of $5,647 at 4:45 p.m. Oct. 8.
Avenue 36 and Eagle Rock Boulevard--A woman got off a bus at 7 p.m. Oct. 8, and a man followed her and robbed her at knifepoint of money and jewelry valued at $345.
Highland Park
Toland Way, 4800 block--Tools and equipment valued at $1,530 were reported stolen from a house Oct. 6.
Oneonta Drive, 800 block--Burglars stole firearms and video equipment valued at $1,660 from a house between 9:45 and 11:45 a.m. Oct. 7.
Los Feliz
North Vermont Avenue, 1500 block--A man with a revolver hid in a drugstore after closing, struggled with several employees, fired five shots and robbed the business of $9,000 cash at 12:55 a.m. Oct. 5.
North Vermont Avenue, 1700 block--Burglars stole a TV and video equipment valued at $2,150 from an apartment between 8 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Oct. 7.
Hillhurst Avenue, 1600 block--Firearms and a stereo valued at $2,000 were stolen from an apartment between 9:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. Oct. 7.
North Commonwealth Avenue, 1100 block--A woman opening her driveway gate was robbed at gunpoint of $65 cash by two men at 7 p.m. Oct. 7.
Waverly Drive, 3100 block--Four men in a car drove up to a woman on the street at 8:10 p.m. Oct. 8, pointed a gun and robbed her of her purse and money with a total value of $85.
Finley and Vermont avenues--Two men knocked down a woman on the street and snatched her purse and money with a total value of $150 at 11:45 a.m. Oct. 8.
Russell Avenue, 4600 block--Three men snatched a woman’s purse and money with a total value of $110 at 11:45 a.m. Oct. 11.
Mt. Washington
Avenue 50 and Figueroa Street--Four men robbed a man at a gas station at knifepoint of $600 cash and his vehicle at 9 p.m. Oct. 9.
Silver Lake
Griffith Park Boulevard, 1800 block--Two men robbed a woman of her purse and wallet valued at $10 at 7:15 a.m. Oct. 5.
Moreno Drive, 2200 block--Thieves kicked open the side door of a house and stole a TV and video equipment valued at $1,985 between 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. Oct. 5.
Glendale Boulevard, 2200 block--Computer equipment and recorded music valued at $4,200 were stolen from a house between 10:15 and 11:15 a.m. Oct. 6.
North Benton Avenue, 1300 block--Clothing valued at $2,400 was stolen from a house between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Oct. 6.
Lemoyne Street, 2100 block--A woman and two men robbed a woman on the street at gunpoint of money and jewelry valued at $606 at 7:50 p.m. Oct. 7.
Glenhurst Avenue, 2900 block--Money and jewelry with a total value of $17,310 were stolen from a house between 3:10 and 4 p.m. Oct. 9.
Riverside Terrace, 2500 block--A TV and video equipment valued at $1,000 were stolen from a house between 7:50 a.m. and 3 p.m. Oct. 9.
Effie Street, 4200 block--Four men robbed a woman of her purse and money with a total value of $503 at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 9. The victim snatched the purse back and threw it into her yard, but one of the men pointed the gun at her while another retrieved it.
