Cerritos : Capital Improvements Worth $2.8 Million Delayed 1 Year

Share

Cerritos has postponed $2.8 million worth of capital improvement projects to offset a cut in Redevelopment Agency revenues from the state. The projects, which include traffic signals, work on streets, sidewalks and water lines, as well as park lighting, were deferred for a year by the City Council.

At the same meeting last week, the council awarded a $3.8-million contract to Summit Builders for construction of the senior citizen center at Pat Nixon Park. It is expected to be completed by next fall.
