Behind The Scenes : Ranch Dressing Gathers Green for Scholarships

Urban cowgirls and buckaroos got together at Denim & Diamonds in Huntington Beach last week to raise a grand in green for the Miss Garden Grove and Miss California scholarship funds. Pageant finalists, local country musicians and studly firemen modeled Western duds provided by county cowboy wear boutiques. Attendees yahooed for their favorite outfits and vied for raffle prizes. A “dream date” auction capped off the three-hour event, with lucky ladies bidding for disc jockeys from country music station KIK-FM and other hunks.
