Fans Feel Clipped by Recent Transactions
We Clipper fans have been patient. But please don’t ask us to be stupid, too.
I’ve read all there is about the recent trade and there remain many unsolved mysteries:
--The rebuilding of the past is becoming the undoing of the present.
--Gone is Charles Smith, with no acceptable explanation, and by the way, he is not a center.
--Gone are the veteran crowd-pleasers who will lend their leadership and skills elsewhere: Doc Rivers and James Edwards.
--The mere mention of the name Benoit in trade analysis is enough to market straitjackets at the Sports Arena.
