Blacks on TV: II
Thanks to Bill Cosby for speaking out about the horrible image of African-Americans being presented by the Hollywood media.
We are not vulgar court jesters and clowns that exist so that the rest of America can spit on us. The more Hollywood presents anyone black as dumb clowns and anyone white as perfect, there will be race wars and race wars. This does nothing to promote harmony or peace in America--only hatred.
Black people in America are bonded by the frustration of racism in the United States. (There’s nothing else that could bond us--mothers were taken from babies, languages destroyed, and any form of family life was destroyed.)
Now we’re achievers but cut off by racism from almost all opportunities. We’re not happy buffoons living in the stench of hatred because of color, the way Hollywood continually tries to portray us.
