Madonna vs. Sinead: Madonna has attacked Irish singer Sinead O’Connor for ripping up a picture of the Pope John Paul II on “Saturday Night Live” earlier this month. “I think there is a better way to present her ideas rather than ripping up an image that means a lot to other people,” Madonna said in an interview with the Irish Times. “While I may agree with her theory, I cannot agree with her approach.” Madonna, who has sparked controversy for mixing erotic and religious images in her videos, talked with the newspaper while in London promoting her new book, “Sex.”
