A lawsuit filed against the Cincinnati Bengals by a Spokane, Wash., woman who said she was gang-raped by a group of players has been assigned to a third federal judge after two judges withdrew from the case in as many days. The lawsuit is scheduled to go to trial June 7.

The civil lawsuit, filed by a woman identified in court papers as Victoria C., seeks unspecified damages from the Bengals organization and 20 players.

The plaintiff contends 12 team members gang-raped her on Oct. 3, 1990, in a suburban Seattle hotel room, and that an additional eight players stood by while she was assaulted.
