The Santa Clarita Valley group of the Angeles chapter of the Sierra Club will hold a candidates forum at 7:30 p.m. Monday at Santa Clarita City Hall, 23920 Valencia Blvd. Candidates from the 25th Congressional District, 36th and 38th Assembly districts and the 17th and 19th state Senate districts are expected to attend. In addition, representatives of U.S. Senate candidates Dianne Feinstein and John Seymour are scheduled to be present. Admission is free, and the event is open to the public. The Woodland Hills Homeowners Organization will sponsor a candidates forum at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday for those running in the 24th Congressional District. The forum will be in the cafeteria of the Pacific Lodge Boys Home, 4900 Serrania Ave., Woodland Hills. Admission is free and the event is open to the public. A fund-raising reception for the Santa Clarita Valley Campaign ’92 Headquarters for Clinton-Gore is planned from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Wednesday at a private home at 28800 Shadow Valley Lane in Santa Clarita. Organizers said Earvin (Magic) Johnson of the Los Angeles Lakers has confirmed he will attend. A $25 donation is asked per person, and tickets are available at the door.
