CALIFORNIA IN BRIEF : RANCHO CUCAMONGA : Man Accused of Sale of Illegal Firearms

Agents from the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms have arrested Jed Sorenson, 25, of Rancho Cucamonga on suspicion of selling illegal silencers and unregistered machine guns from his home, Special Agent John D’Angelo said. Sorenson’s arrest ended a two-week investigation during which federal agents, posing as organized crime members seeking weapons for sale in the Philippines, purchased three unregistered machine guns with silencers.
