Only the Names Have Been Changed
I enjoyed “What’s in a Name?” (Oct. 15). Not that I plan on changing my name, but I can certainly relate to any of the people mentioned in the story.
You see, this Quayle thing is causing me much grief. His press secretary has my name.
Because I’ve been in the public relations business for more than 12 years, most notably as the publicist for Graceland, I’m occasionally in the press myself.
Herein lies the problem. People think I’m J. Danforth’s spin doctor.
The bottom line: He only represents a vice president; I represent the King.
