Mazda’s decision Monday to scrap its plans for a luxury car division is a huge blow to the Los Angeles office of Lord Dentsu & Partners, which 10 months ago was awarded the $60-million account. Now it will forgo adding the 50 staff members it had planned to hire next year on the account.
