Businessman Donates New Microcomputers

The Los Angeles City College business administration program received 46 new microcomputers, valued at about $100,000, from local businessman and LACC Instructor Marv Hoffman. Hoffman is chief officer and founder of XXCAL Inc., a computer consulting firm. He has also arranged for donations from private businesses of 40 computers to the college in the past 10 years.

Hoffman teaches introductory BASIC computer programming in the business department and is president of the LACC Foundation.
