Violations of Public Trust

Share

Those who run our county government have been caught with their fingers in the proverbial cookie jar. Violating the public trust, they awarded themselves exorbitant perks in lieu of pay raises and then kept the perks hidden to avoid public scrutiny.

They have violated the covenant--the bond of trust placed between themselves and the voters who confidently put them into office. Rather than serve the interests of their constituents, these political hacks chose instead to loot and then hide the facts from the very citizens who write their paychecks. Sadly, that which is happening here, on the county level, is not uncommon throughout the entire political system today.

Government is inherently evil and if not watched closely, begins to bear the rotten fruit of an immoral ruling class, who, being totally convinced of their special privilege, posture themselves in their narrow minds far above us, the lowly peons and serfs.

There is not one elected official or appointed bureaucrat, who went along with the “perks for pay” ruse, who is worthy of reelection or continued employment--not one.
