BIG TINY: When one local school trotted out the world’s tallest man for a lunch program, Handy Elementary School in Orange decided it could do better. Today’s combination for a Red Ribbon Week event there: Alama Chana--world’s tallest man at 7 foot 8 and the world’s small woman--Paquita Nunez of Bell at 42 inches. . . . Actually, says Mel Olds, from one of the sponsoring groups: “We can’t confirm that she’s the world’s smallest; but she’s the smallest I’ve ever heard of, or seen.”
