Enhanced Imaging Technologies Inc.: The Irvine manufacturer of optical filters and cardiac imaging products reported third-quarter earnings of $1.1 million, or 17 cents a share. That compared to a profit of $344,000, or 7 cents a share, for the same 1991 period. Revenue increased 33% to $10.9 million from $8.2 million. For the first nine months of 1992, profit tripled to $3.3 million, or 55 cents a share, from $1.1 million, or 23 cents a share, for the same period last year. Revenue rose 56% to $33.3 million from $21.4 million. Results for the quarter and nine months include Optical Devices Inc., acquired in July, 1991. Separately, Enhanced Imaging announced that its Vari-X Inc. subsidiary has acquired Cine-Cath Imaging Inc., a Columbia, S.C., distributor of angiography film. Terms were not disclosed.
