Russell D. Summers has been appointed vice president of business development for Solaris Systems in Anaheim. He will be responsible for sales, marketing and program development for the company’s military and commercial products. Before joining Solaris, Summers was director of field marketing for Interstate Electronics Corp. He has also held management positions with Electronic Memories & Magnetics/Sesco, Leach Corp. and Hycon Manufacturing Co. Solaris makes graphics workstations, data storage peripherals and electronic components.
