Madonna

I would like to thank Ellen Goodman for giving readers a fair and correct assessment of Madonna’s latest smut-peddling enterprise (“Take This ‘Sex’ Symbol. Please,” Commentary, Oct. 27)--it was right on the mark.

Anyone who cannot see that Madonna is a morally bankrupt no-talent tramp who is using the entertainment industry to line her pockets by institutionalizing and legitimizing pornography, and catering to the lowest common denominator in popular mass culture needs to be re-educated to a new set of values.

Shame on Madonna, shame on her supporters and shame on her fans!
