‘Nutcracker’ Date: The Kirov Ballet has been performing Tchaikovsky’s “The Nutcracker” for 100 years, but it has never danced the work in the United States. That will be rectified when the company presents 14 “Nutcrackers” at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion of the Music Center Dec. 22-Jan. 3. The work was created for the Kirov in 1892.
