Wahlco Environmental Systems Inc.: The Irvine pollution control and power efficiency equipment manufacturer lost $3.2 million, or 18 cents a share, for the third quarter, contrasted with net income of $4.4 million, or 25 cents a share, for the 1991 third quarter. Revenue declined 18%, to $22.3 million from $27.2 million in last year’s third quarter. Wahlco attributed the loss to lower revenue from flue gas conditioning systems, along with higher companywide selling expenses. For the first nine months, the company lost $7.9 million, or 45 cents a share, on revenue of $64.5 million. For the same period in 1991, net income totaled $7.9 million, or 45 cents a share, on revenue of $61.3 million.
