IBM To Announce Speech-Command Computers: International Business Machines next week will announce products that allow computers to respond to spoken commands, including a system it believes is among the most sophisticated voice-recognition technologies commercially available, industry executives said. Two of the new products will run on IBM-type personal computers. The third is designed for IBM workstations, the powerful desktop computers favored by scientists and engineers.
