New Lease Nearly Doubles Container Maker’s Space

Tubed Products Inc., a subsidiary of McCormick & Co., producer of Schilling spices, has nearly doubled its space in Oxnard’s Channel Islands Business Center.

The company, which makes plastic containers for health and beauty products, has leased a 20,000-square-foot warehouse on Fiske Place, augmenting its 26,000-square-foot production building on Beacon Place.

“We’re doing well and we ran out of space, but we’re not planning on doing any new hiring soon,” said Joe Osborne, Tubed Products’ plant manager. The firm has 65 employees.
