STAMP OF APPROVAL: Customer service at local post offices may be getting better. A new survey shows that the Santa Ana U.S. Postal District, which covers most of Orange County, got an 88% approval rating, one point above the national postal average and four points better than last year. But district manager Al Martinez says, “We are still not where we want to be.” . . . His goals: shorter lobby lines and friendlier service. Also, the district is planning booths at major malls for the Christmas season.
