For Better Living Inc.: The San Juan Capistrano manufacturer of concrete and plastic products and publisher of specialty magazines reported that third-quarter net income totaled $440,000, or 50 cents a share, down 27% from the $599,000, or 68 cents a share, recorded for the comparable period last year. Revenue declined 8%, to $18.6 million from $20.2 million. Net income for the nine-month period was up 4%, to $527,000, or 60 cents a share, from $509,000, or 57 cents a share, for the same period in 1991. Revenue dropped 5%, to $51.8 million from $54.3 million.
