BEATING AROUND BUSH
The authors list Bush’s more favorable attributes (loyalty, duty, honesty, etc.), which, they say, have little to do with the ability to correct our nation’s ills. Yet, I saw far less in Bill Clinton, who repeatedly changed his life history and his position on major issues. If that is what is considered an agent of change and a man of action, then I’d have had no problem sticking with a President who at least stands by his convictions and displays a reassuring consistency during a time of continual tumult.
