Quite a Bit Cleaner: Paul Roulier was mulling his future late one night in front of his home personal computer when he got the idea: Clean those PCs.

Roulier opened his one-person business, PC Cleaner, two weeks ago in Newport Beach. So far, he has cleaned about 10 computers for small businesses at a cost of $25 for each workstation.

To keep from short-circuiting the equipment, Roulier uses a static-resistant spray cleaner and canned air to reach tough spots inside a computer’s sensitive motherboards and keyboards.

“My main thing is telling people that they need to clean their computers because they don’t want them to fail and lose their data,” he said. “A computer shop will charge them more money. And people really don’t understand how to clean it themselves.”
