Winter Intersession Nature Programs--The Oak Canyon Nature Center in Anaheim Hills is now accepting reservations for its series of winter vacation nature classes for children.

Eleven half-day sessions will be held. Topics of the classes will be as follows: * Monday, Dec. 21--”Birds That Fly By”

* Tuesday, Dec. 22--”Warm and Fuzzy”

* Wednesday, Dec. 23--”Baleens, Blues and Belugas”

* Monday, Dec. 28--”Camouflage Critters”

* Tuesday, Dec. 29--”Follow Their Footsteps”

* Wednesday, Dec. 30--”Strategies for Survival”

* Monday, Jan. 4--”Crash, Bang, Boom”

* Tuesday, Jan. 5--”Through Rain, Sleet and Snow”

* Wednesday, Jan. 6--”Wound Up About Wind”

* Thursday, Jan. 7--”Moon, Stars and Galaxies”

* Friday, Jan. 8--”Light Multiplied by Prism Equals Rainbows”

The classes are for children ages 6 to 10. The sessions will include crafts, games, nature hikes, activities and animal demonstrations.

There is no limit to the number of programs children may attend. The fee is $8 for each half-day session.

Parents can register their child in person at the nature center or send a registration form, with payment, to the Anaheim Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department, 200 S. Anaheim Blvd., Room 433, Anaheim CA., 92805, attention: Oak Canyon Nature Center. Checks should be made payable to the city of Anaheim.
