Things Getting Out of Hand
Efrain Santos’ luck ran out last week, killed after being shot nine times by an LAPD officer.
The LAPD certainly has a lot of weapons at its disposal. They could have stunned him with a stun-gun, rather than terminating his life. They said Efrain Santos was a gang member, as if that justifies killing him. It doesn’t. All people should be treated with dignity and respect.
Police need to help keep the peace. Things have gotten out of hand. The taking of life by “criminals” and police alike threatens us all.
