I would bet that we would seeing more women in Cabinet posts and other government positions under Clinton. That would, I think, be crucial to a balance of power.

Issues this year have certainly given women a stronger voice. Women have spoken out and taken more assertive roles in this election than they have in any of the others past. And I think it’s very important that we have both men and women’s voices heard and recognized in the governmental process.

The successes that women had in being elected to the Senate certainly should be encouraging to anyone following in their footsteps. And I’m encouraged when I see cities throughout the country electing women mayors and women to their city councils.

What I would particularly like to see are more women business executives. We always hear about the glass ceiling and I’m hopeful we’re seeing that glass ceiling shatter.
