Bruin Fans Rejoicing, While Trojan Faithful Running Out of Faith
It seems that Larry Smith has, at last, become a full-fledged Trojan. The kind that many of us, over many years, have learned to hate.
After the magnificent game played in the Rose Bowl last weekend, Coach Smith could tell us only how angry he was that his team had blown a 14-point lead. No words of congratulations to the Bruins for showing the courage to come back against difficult odds. Not even a word of admiration for his offense, which, after having lost the lead, was able to complete a tough march and score with only 41 seconds left in the game.
I’m left with only two words: Go Irish.
