Colombian Judge, Arrested in Miami as Drug Smuggler

MIAMI —
A Columbian judge was arrested on drug smuggling charges after she and her 4-year old son arrived in Miami on a flight from Columbia, a U.S. Customs spokesman said Friday.
U.S. agents found 2.2 pounds of heroin hidden inside a false-sided suitcase carried by Esperanza Rodriguiz-Arevalo, 41, from Cali, Columbia, Thursday.
The discovery was made after a drug-sniffing dogs alerted Customs agents at the airport to a suspicious suitcase.
