Pacific Enterprises Completes Sale: The $39.2-million sale of Pacific Enterprises Oil Co. of Canada to Enerplus Group of Calgary, Alberta, has been completed, according to Pacific Enterprises Chairman Willis B. Wood Jr. The Los Angeles-based parent of Southern California Gas Co. also announced that it hoped to close the sale of its larger U.S. oil and gas holdings by early January. The company had announced agreement Oct. 12 to sell these assets, for about $371 million, to Hunt Oil Co. of Dallas.
