American Express Co.’s Lehman Bros. Inc. unit has named Donald L. Crooks managing director and head of equity trading.
The 46-year-old Crooks was most recently executive vice president and head of over-the-counter trading at Smith Barney, Harris Upham & Co. Before that, he was managing director at Morgan Stanley’s equity division.
Crooks succeeds Thomas L. Bianco, who will assume responsibility for Lehman Bros.’ worldwide equities business in the Asia-Pacific region.
