Marv Goux, an assistant football coach at USC from 1957 through 1982, told The Times that he would like to be considered for the athletic director’s job at USC.
Mike McGee, the current athletic director, is taking a similar position with the University of South Carolina.
Goux also played at USC in the early 1950s. He is a former assistant coach with the Rams and now directs the club’s speakers’ bureau.
