USA Video Signs Equipment Loan Deal With DEC: Century City-based USA Video Corp. said Digital Equipment Corp. has agreed to loan it $3,050,000 worth of equipment and software to help it test its video-on-demand technology. USA Video says it has developed a technology that would allow cable TV viewers at home to access as many as 10,000 different movies and TV programs through a hand-held device. A spokesman for USA Video said a pilot program would begin shortly with a cable TV company and a phone company.
