A Camarillo man involved in a single-car crash in the Camarillo Heights area died from a heart attack and not from the injuries he sustained in the accident, a deputy coroner said.
David Albert Bardier, 39, was driving on Valley Vista Drive north of Vista Del Mar Avenue about 6:40 p.m. Wednesday when he suddenly lost control of his car, the California Highway Patrol reported.
Bardier’s vehicle hit a metal guardrail, swerved across the road and slammed into a tree, a CHP spokesman said. Bardier was pronounced dead on arrival at Pleasant Valley Hospital, the CHP said.
