10th Loss to the Irish Seems to Be Last Straw for USC Football Fans

Why are Trojan supporters unable to appreciate the tremendous talent they have running their football program? I suspect it’s because they are too caught up in overemphasized rivalries with UCLA and Notre Dame. These Trojan backers fail to get the point: Larry Smith is a great leader and on any given day USC might beat anybody. Coach Smith deserves more years at the helm so he can claim his rightful place in that once-glorious Trojan history.
