Air Freight Prices to Go Up: Burlington Air Express Inc. plans to raise its air freight prices on Feb. 1 by as much as 10% in the United States and Canada because of higher costs to maintain aircraft and to meet governmental regulations, company officials said Monday.
The air freight company, based in Irvine, also said that it is studying whether to raise rates for international destinations besides Canada.
Burlington officials say that overall, their rates are at or below levels four years ago.
